To our Creek’s Edge family,
Fortunately, we have been able to continue to do our part to take care of your pets during this unprecedented time. We are currently still working at a reduced schedule, but we are now scheduling sick and routine appointments from 10-4 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. We will begin performing routine surgical procedures such as spays and neuters, please call the office for more information.
We plan to continue to offer a safe and healthy environment for you, your pets and our staff, so to do this we are implementing some changes to our pet visits:
– It is essential that anyone displaying symptoms of COVID-19, has tested positive for COVID-19, if you have traveled outside of the US or traveled to a CDC “hot zone” in the past month, please refrain from coming to the office. With that being said, if you have a sick pet at home, we will do our best to assess your pet via a phone call or by a telemedicine appointment.
– For the safety of our staff and our clients, and to adhere to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for social distancing, we ask that when you bring your pet in for a visit, to please call the office to let us know you are here. The receptionist will take a phone number and credit card number and put you through to a nurse who will get a history on your pet and any other concerns you may have. For a dog visit, we ask that you have your pet outside of the vehicle on a leash and ask that you are wearing a mask. For a cat visit, we ask that you wear a mask and put your pet carrier on the front porch. They will then escort him/her to the treatment area while you remain in your car.
– After the assessment, the doctor will call you to discuss the exam findings, treatment options or next steps, discharge instructions and any medications necessary. When your pet is ready to be discharged, the tech will take payment and bring your pet back out to you, along with your receipt and any medications in a bag by an associate wearing personal protective equipment.
Please be patient with us as our phone lines are very busy. If you do not get an immediate answer, please do not leave a message and continue to call back for us to answer.
